Today my cat fetched a tampon.

If you know me, (or even if you don't) you probably know that I have a strange relationship with my cat, Cotton. He is more of a cat/child/dog combo. He does strange things that other cats don't do. Like fetching. Repeatedly. And Im pretty obsessed with his every move. We are inseparable. This is due somewhat to the fact that I work from home so he and I spend every waking and sleeping moment together, and in part to the fact that deep down I really want to be a cat lady. I think the whole concept is brilliant. I do not understand why everyone I know wouldn't want to fill their house with cats. They are so great!

So anyway, last night I was laying in bed reading when Cotton jumped up on the bed. With a tampon (unused, in wrapper, chill) in his mouth. He chewed on it for a while and then then dropped it in Dustin's lap. (This is what he does with his toy mice when he wants to play fetch). Dustin thought about it for a second, picked it up, and threw it down the hall. (We are a weird little family, huh?). Cotton promptly fetched it, and brought it back. This went on for a few minutes before he ran under the bed to stash it for later and it was then that I decided that since I don't have anything better to do with my time (ha. haha. i amuse myself) that I would start a blog devoted to photos of Cotton. One photo a day. Every day. For a year.

I am going to cheat on the first entry and do a Cotton montage. Bear in mind that these are all Iphone photos and are in no way to be an indicator of my photographic talent or equipment.
